Biography

I am a Malaysian foreign affairs, security and strategy analyst based in Universiti Malaya, Malaysia’s oldest and highest-ranked university. My work spans geopolitical analysis, institutional strategy, internationalization, and higher education leadership, with a strong focus on foreign policy, ASEAN affairs, U.S.–China rivalry, Indo-Pacific dynamics and regional security.

To date, I have contributed more than 1,700 publications and media appearances across over 200 media and platform headings throughout the world. My analysis has been featured in leading global, regional and policy platforms including The Washington Post, Financial Times, Associated Press, ABC News, South China Morning Post, The Independent, The Diplomat, Asia Times, The Japan Times, Bangkok Post, Channel News Asia, WION and NewsX World. I hold a Master in European Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Strategic Studies with Honours from Universiti Malaya, and I am committed to advancing informed discourse on higher education, foreign policy and global affairs.
